Delaware Counties
Delaware has three counties: New Castle, Kent, and Sussex. All bankruptcy cases from every county go to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington. The court holds all Delaware bankruptcy records for the state. Each county still runs its own Recorder of Deeds, Superior Court, and Division of Revenue office. Those offices can come up in a case when you need property records, tax data, or state court judgments.
